Seriously Sarah?

In March 2010 Palin started a “Take Back the 20” website, featuring a U.S. map targeting--with bullseyes--20 Democratic House members, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. In one of her tweets Palin urged her supporters, “Don’t Retreat, Instead – RELOAD!” and she even  made the phrase a part of her campaign trail repertoire.

The site was taken down in the wake of Saturday’s attacks. It wasn’t until something like the Arizona tragedy took place before someone in the Palin camp thought it was a good idea to take this stupid and perhaps even dangerous site down from the internet.

I checked Sarah Palin's official website (not the take back website) today, out of curiosity, to see if she left any comment with regard to what happened to the Democatic Senator Gabrielle Giffords. And this is what I read TODAY:

"On The Tragedy in Arizona"

My sincere condolences are offered to the family of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and the other victims of today's tragic shooting in Arizona.

Seriously... nobody told her that Senator Giffords is still alive. Or is Sarah Palin waiting for somebody who actually is going to reload...

But maybe somebody will tell her - and with her many other politicians on every level - that ranting, throwing mud and opening stupid and even dangerous websites have nothing to do with the freedom of speech. In the least it shows that such politicians are ill mannered and are barely able to foresee the consequences of their doings. Not my kind of politician!

That thing from March had actual Crosshairs on each of the "targeted" people. CROSSHAIRS, like in a Site thing on a Rifle!!! Palin was inviting people to shoot all these 20 people who were HER 'targets'.
Irresponsible and truly CRAZY!!!!!!

My "word verification" is saddista!!! How appropriate!

I saw that Crosshairs thing on the news last night - thankfully it was exposed so she would take that down. Awful awful awful.

The woman is a witless moron, drunk with her inexplicable rise to prominence. This level of thoughtless idiocy is amazing even for her, though.

PS--I never got my sketch book back. Any chance I could see that Joan Jett art you made, without the white stars across it?

I was shocked about the shootings in AZ. Having just bought a home not too far away from where it happened, it shakes you up a bit.

As for Sarah Palin, I didn't actually know about this site! Unbelievable!

She is, as one of my volunteers at work put it, "a poor example of womanhood."

To all: I was amazed with the last elections how much bad was said by each politician about another. As a potential voter I don't care how wrong the other is, just tell me what you want to do. If ranting is the only thing you're good at, then clearly you are not the one to represent me.
Politicians are expected to lead examplary lives, but at the same time their shameless rantings is completely acceptable.
And Sarah Palin? Well she is a good example how thoughtless rantings can lead to really bad consequences.

Can you actually name any politician you could call "your kind of politician"? I certainly cannot.

Yes, this was something that really annoyed me and this woman is so stupid that she continued to put her foot in her mouth after the tragedy. Her popularity is why I believe America has become too stupid for its own good.
